Gaya is a really nice, small, and funky restaurant in Tokyo. The food is very good, pretty casual japanese crossover, but very well made, with mostly organic ingredients.
Its located very near to the Yoyogi Ueahara metro station, just across the street when you get down from the escalator (there’s only one exit).
There’s a steep stair down, so keep your eyes open.
Its one of those places that just has a great vibe, staff is really friendly (and speak english).
Food is mixed japanese and international, seems to be whatever the chefs fancy at the moment! We had risotto, steamed veggies with dip sauce, dumplings, sashimi, pickles, some meat stuff, lots of good things!
